Undercurrent

Created before the Abyssal Reclamation collection, Undercurrent explores the flowing rhythms and quiet movement found within natural forms. Its sculptural silhouette suggests water shaping rock over time, where soft transitions and undulating contours create a sense of continual motion.

While the surface remains largely uninterrupted, the work marks an early investigation into themes that continue to define my practice today: the influence of natural processes, the passage of time, and the dialogue between the organic and the constructed.

Looking back, Undercurrent represents the beginning of a visual language that would later evolve into the textured surfaces and imagined marine transformations of Abyssal Reclamation.
